To Buy Or Not To Buy

I have been wanting to buy a new cutting machine for a while and have gone back and forth about which one I should buy and why. I have been looking at the Cricut Expression but it is so expensive and you have to buy cartridges each time you want to change font.

Then I found this....the Silhouette

It costs about the same or a little less than the Expression and you can use any font that you have on your computer so there is no need to buy the cartridges. I can use it to create a ton of things and it will make what I do so much easier but the question is will I use it enough to make the price worth it.

So I am putting the questions out to you, should I buy it or not?

I have a hand-me-down Cricut that I have been thinking of selling because I never use it - and I have 4 or 5 cartridges to go along with it. I could let you have it for less than you'd pay for the Silhouette - but it is a used machine you would still be tied to buying the Cricut cartridges! So, I don't know, you're probably better off going with the Silhouette. I can't vouch for the quality of the Silhouette, but these cutting machines are awesome and worth the money IF you really are going to use it.

Amy, is it a Cricut or a Cricut Expression?? That makes the difference of if I would want it or not. :) Too bad you dont use it, but then again when do you have time!
