Sew Mama Sew Giveaway 2012

**********Updated: Giveaway is closed**************

This is the third year I am participating in the Sew Mama Sew giveaway and I am excited to do the same again this year!

The last two years I gave away breastfeeding covers, I love making them and seeing women who use them and love them. This year I wanted to do something different, something more juvenile. I am preparing to make mother and child aprons and wanted to make a few more children's aprons before making the sets.

This is an example of the apron style. It will be a full apron with ties at the top and around the waist that make them adjustable to wear for years to come.

This is an image of the fabric that will be used for the apron. The ribbon used for the neck and waist will probably be brown or something that will coordinate with this fabric.

Here are the rules:
  • Post a comment on this post to enter. Tell me what you love to make with your kids (or what you hope to one day make with your kids).
  •  You have until May 25 at 5 p.m. PST to enter to win. Winner will be announced by email no later than Sunday, May 27 and I will update this Giveaway Day post to include the winner’s name.
  •  Winner needs to be from The Continental United States no international shipping.
  • I will pick a winner via random.org.
  • I will ship the item by June 1st.
For those of you who are new to my blog....welcome! I hope you have a chance to look around at all of the fun things that I make. For those faithful followers thank you so much for sticking by me and please go check out some other fun blogs and giveaways listed here. Don't forget to check out my Etsy store where you can purchase my products. You can get there from the products page here on my blog or right there on the right sidebar.

Good Luck!

I'm a new follower. I like to make paper crafts with my daughter. Set her up to do crafty things while I sew or cook. We also cook and bake a lot together.

I am awaiting the day that my girls will be able to sew and crochet with me.

My kids are too little to make anything really fancy, but I love just getting messy with them at an art table. We don't produce anything frameable, but it's a fun time anyways.

I mostly cook with my little children. I'm teaching the 8 and 9 year old about sewing.

I still have the red and blue polka-dot squares I got as a little girl when reading the Laura Ingalls Wilder books... I know my mother will be reading those with the baby when she's older, and I hope to see her sewing those together as I planned to!

My son is still a bit too young to help me yet, but he loves watching me in my sewing room, and I look forward to teaching him how to cook and make wonderful crafts, cards and ornaments! Thank you for the giveaway! atomkins2010@gmail.com

So cute! I've just been talking to my 3 year old son about him having his own apron so he can help me in the kitchen. What I'm hoping to make soon for my daughter is a huge bean bag!

I love to bake goodies with my kids. They enjoy the process more than the end result and I enjoy the time with them. Thanks for the chance to win!

My girls and I love to make big salads together - they love helping me select/wash/sort all the veggies and it is such a great way to encourage them to try new combinations of healthy food.
Thanks for the chance to win!
